Say hello to this cutie pie, Adam! Adam’s family consists of parents guardians Sean and Diana and has an older sister named Lexi! Adam was born as a 33 week preemie.
Child’s strengths: Adam is a ball of energy and can spend copious amounts of time digging dirt piles in the backyard and transferring things from construction toy truck to construction toy truck. He is always on the move and loves to dance. He recently learned how to use google speakers to his advantage and will command every google speaker he sees to play “The Nights” by Avicci.
Greatest Accomplishments: Adam was a hefty four pounds in the NICU, born at 33 weeks gestation (nearly twice the size of his sister at birth!). We practically wanted to take him home right after he was born, but he needed 28 days in the NICU to learn how to breathe, eat and maintain his body temperature without relying on the warmth of his isolette.
He came home on caffeine to help stimulate his breathing so that his desats/apneas/bradycardia episodes were kept to a minimum. Adam will have no recollection of this, but it amused mommy to cheers Adam’s dose of caffeine in his tiny syringe with her cup of Starbucks coffee, and many of their mornings started this way.
Unique quality/trait(s): Adam is most definitely strong willed and determined. He has a very sweet side to him and gives the best hugs and cuddles.
Additional Highlights: Adam loves dinosaurs and superheroes.
